Edit your gallery profile

Learn how to add and edit details on your gallery profile.

Edit basic information

To edit the basic information about your gallery, click on the edit button located just beneath the name and description of your gallery. When clicking on the button a form page with boxes will appear where you can edit the name, description, contact email, website link, phone number, location, opening hours, profile image and cover image in the sections provided. To make the changes appear on the profile page you have to click the save button at the bottom of the page. You can make changes as frequently as you like. To read more click here.

Edit featured artists

To edit an artist in the featured artists attached to your gallery profile you need to click on the artist's name where it appears in the featured artist section. After you click this button you will be taken to the artist's profile page. Click the 'edit' button underneath the artists name and biographic information, and you will be taken to a form page where you can edit the information in the boxes provided. Always click save after you have made the changes to ensure they appear on your profile. To read more click here.

Add a new artist, and remove artists

To add an artist to the featured artists attached to your gallery profile you need to click on the plus/add icon button next to the "Featured artists" headline. After you click this button you will be taken to a form page where you will enter the name of the artist you wish to add. It is likely the name of the artist is already saved to the Artland database. After typing the name, select the correct match from the drop down choices. If the artist's name is not in the database, you can follow the prompts underneath the box to add a new artist. To remove an artist, click on the plus/add icon button next to the "Featured artists" headline on the gallery profile. The existing artists' names will appear in the box on the form page. To remove an artist, click the 'x' next to the artist's name. Always click save after you have made the changes to ensure they appear on your profile. To read more click here.

Upload single artworks

To upload a single artwork to your gallery profile you click on the plus/add icon button next to the headline "Artworks" on your gallery profile (remember that you need to be logged in). After clicking the button, choose "Single artwork"and a new page will appear. Here you can add all the information about the artwork in the boxes provided. Click "Save". If you don't want to publish it yet you can change the status to "Not published" and publish it later.  Published means visible to the public, and Not published means that the work is still saved to to Artland, but not visible to the public. To edit the artwork go to the individual artwork and click on the edit button under the artist name and title. Make the changes you need in the boxes on the form page. Upload multiple artworks

To upload multiple artworks to your gallery profile click on the plus icon next to the headline "Artworks" on your gallery profile (remember that you need to be logged in) and choose "Multiple artworks". A new page will appear where you can add all the shared information about the artworks you want to upload. When you have added the information that the artworks have in common click "Save". All the works will be added but not published. You can now edit the individual artworks, by clicking on the artwork, and then "edit" on the artwork page that appears. Fill out the forms with the missing information. To publish the artwork change the status to "Published" and click "Save". To read more click here.

Publish, unpublish and mark artworks as sold

You can change the status and availability of the artworks on the profile page. Click on the artwork in question, and then click on the "edit" button under the artist name and title. To publish or unpublish the artwork change the status to "Published"or "Not published". "Not published" means that visitors to your gallery page will not be able to see the artwork. On your gallery profile you can sort the artworks by the status. To mark an artwork as sold you change the availability to "Sold" and click "Save". It will now appear as sold to the visitor. To read more click here.

Add and edit exhibitions

To add or edit an exhibition on your gallery profile click on the plus/add icon button next to the headline "Exhibitions" on your gallery profile (remember that you need to be logged in). A new form page will appear where you can add all the information about the exhibition in the boxes provided. To publish it click "Save". To edit the exhibition go to the individual exhibition page and click on the "edit" button under the title and description. To read more click here.

Create Viewing Room

To create a viewing room you need to scroll down on your gallery profile to the Viewing Room section at the bottom of the page. Click on the plus icon next to the Viewing Room headline. You can now add the desired information about the viewing room. If you do not want to publish it right away choose “Not Published” in the status field. You can publish a Viewing Room that has not opened yet, then it will show with a count down for the visitor who will not be able to enter it. To read more click here.

Embed 3D on your website

To embed the 3D recording on your own gallery website go to the exhibition page. Find the embed link by clicking on the arrow icon next to the right upper corner of the 3D exhibition tour window. When clicking on the icon a pop up box appears with the link you need to use. Copy the link and ask your web administrator to embed it on your website. You can change the size of the embedded window by changing the height and width in the copied link. To read more click here.

Invite colleagues

Send invitation link to a colleague

To enrol a colleague as an administrator of your gallery profile, click "invite admin" button, located near the top of your profile and under your gallery information and description.  A pop up window appears. Simply enter the email address of the person you wish to invite and click "send invite". Your colleague can enter the profile to edit it by clicking the link they receive. To read more click here.

To report a bug or an issue, send feedback, or offer suggestions or ideas for improvements go the footer of any page and click on the link "Provide feedback" in the bottom right corner.
