This article will explain the process for embedding a video artwork or an exhibition’s Explore Area on Artland.
You can embed a video on Artland taking it from YouTube or Vimeo and inserting it in the Explore or Artwork Section.
This article is divided into the following sections:

Embed your video from YouTube
To embed a YouTube video on our platform, you need to:
- Go to YouTube and open the video you want to post.
- Click the ''Share'' button below the video and then on '' Embed ''.
3. Once you click on that option you will see a code, of which you will have to copy the URL only and exclusively, as shown in the image.
Embed your video from Vimeo
To embed a Vimeo video on our platform, you need to:
- Go to Vimeo and open the video you want to post.
- Click the ''Share'' button to the right of the video and then go to the '' Embed '' section, where you will see a code, of which you will have to copy the URL only and exclusively, as shown in the image.
Add the video on the Explore Area
If the video you want to public concerns a whole exhibition, you can go to the “Explore Area” of your exhibition and insert it following these steps:
- Go to the exhibition page and click on the pen / Edit button at the upper right corner. To know more, read the article Edit Exhibitions.
- Scroll down to the “Explore Area” and click on ''+ Add Section''
3. Select the ''Video & Text Section'' option.
4. Paste the embed link copied previously from YouTube or Vimeo on the appropriate section called ‘’Video’’.
5. Add all the details you want in the other items.
6. Click the “Save” button located on the right top corner of the page.
Add the video on the Artwork’s page
If the video you want to publish concerns a video artwork, you can insert it following these steps:
- Go to the artwork’s page and make sure that the Medium is “Video / Film / Animation”.
- Click on the ''Edit'' button at the upper right corner. To know more, read the article Edit Artworks.
- Click on the On the backend, scroll down to the “Video link” section.
- Paste the embed link copied previously from YouTube or Vimeo.
5. Click the “Save” button located on the right top corner of the page.
