This article will walk you through how to buy art on Artland via our credit card payment system.
Via Stripe, it is possible for our users to pay directly by providing their credit card information. This buying process is only available if the gallery has registered their Artland profile with Stripe, and if the price is visible (either as a fixed price or price interval).
The buyer will be prompted to fill out the form with shipping and personal information (name, phone number and email). Once the shipping country is selected, the buyer will have the option to add shipping costs if the gallery has added these to the artwork previously, and will then proceed to the credit card payment.
Once the buyer fills out the payment information, the offer will be forwarded via email to the gallery. The gallery will be given seven days to accept, refuse or negotiate the offer.
